Dead Dog on the Left is a documentary short following two Iraq war veterans attempting to heal from PTSD. Nigel McCourry was an early participant in FDA-approved clinical trials using MDMA (``ecstasy``) to treat war trauma. After experiencing an astounding recovery, he tries to get his ``battle buddy,`` Tyler Flanagan, into the same study. Unable to get in, Nigel convinces Tyler to undergo the treatment illegally, from an underground MDMA therapist. Together they embark on an inspiring journey of friendship and healing.
